💡 Meet our featured inventor, Antonella De Souza, creator of FitFreak!

The problem is that a lot of kids go through growth spurts, and their parents don’t have the financial ability to buy them new clothes every week or month.

The solution is having a pair of pants that have extensions that connect to one end of the pants that makes it longer, allowing them to grow along with the child.

This is what we’re pushing for: giving young minds the tools and confidence to turn everyday problems into creative solutions. 🚀

Help us empower more young inventors like Antonella! Join us at a 2026 PFE Fundraiser, become a sponsor or make a donation at PushForEntrepreneurship.com. Every push fuels a dream! ❤️

✨ Exciting Announcement!✨

We are thrilled to share that this year’s Push for Entrepreneurship (PFE) event will feature Ayaan Naqvi - former Connecticut Invention Convention(CIC) inventor, entrepreneur, and 2x Shark Tank presenter - as our Keynote Speaker!

Ayaan, now just 17 years old, was raised in Shelton, CT, and began his entrepreneurial journey at a young age. In 4th grade, after watching the family dog destroy Christmas ornaments, he came up with a brilliant idea: Ornament Anchor 🎄

What started as a simple solution quickly grew into a business when his first booth was flooded with people eager to purchase his creation. With the support of his family, Ayaan has taken Ornament Anchor from a childhood idea to a product loved by consumers around the world. 🌍🎄

Join us as Ayaan shares his incredible journey — from former CIC inventor to Shark Tank — and inspires the next generation of young innovators at PFE!

Push for Entrepreneurship 2024: Smashing Records with $110,000 Raised for Innovation Education

PFE’s 10th annual event, broke records with $110,000 raised! All funds raised by PFE support the Connecticut Invention Convention (CIC) in offering its curriculum to low-income school districts and after-school programs across the state.

We know that young people need contact with the wonder of innovation and excitement of entrepreneurship, yet few in underserviced school districts are exposed to this opportunity. Once kids “invent” a product at an early age they are changed for life. CIC builds an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset by teaching students ‘how to fish” which will ‘feed them for a lifetime’.

Highlights:
🌟Most $ raised – $110,000 from 224 donors, a 38% increase from last year’s record
🌟Record Attendance – room was packed –over 110!
🌟Keynote Speaker: Scott Shickler hit it out of the park - Inspirational and on point.
🌟Shark Tank Presenters: CIC graduates who presented to us gave credit to their CIC experience as the spark that made their experience on Shark Tank happen. Listen to their inspiring story from CIC to Shark Tank on our YouTube channel.
🌟Mini Invention Convention – Kids, grade 3 – 9 presented their inventions, demonstrating the power of their innovation education. I never heard so many compliments about our inventors.
🌟4th annual PFE NYC event is growing

A Big Thank You to our PFE Sponsors - Thank you Colebank Foundation our first Platinum Sponsor along with gold sponsors: Merrill Lynch, Carter Morse & Goodrich and Scott & Grace Shickler Fund, and Silver sponsors: Ocean Crest Ventures, Yale Productions, Morgan Stanley and Fairfield University Dolan School of Business.

Thank you to our trainers: Workout Lounge in Norwalk CT, Adam Harrington, Yoga Leader and Bill Fellah, PFE’s official trainer.
