What’s the big deal about Fairfield, Iowa? Well for one thing, it’s a place where rained-out festival goers watch wiener dog races on the town square. It’s a place that houses Iowa’s Top Private High School (Maharishi School). It's a place where “traffic” means getting stuck behind a tractor. And it’s a place where you don’t have to plan anything and still somehow fill the weekend.
Are you curious yet?

Ready to plan a day in Fairfield??

A moment of appreciation for the Fairfield businesses that understand one of life's basic truths:

Sometimes you just need a taco.

Crispy. Soft. Spicy. Loaded. Traditional. Definitely requiring extra napkins.

To everyone keeping Fairfield supplied with tacos, we salute you. 🌮

Happy National Taco Day!

Sometimes things don't go as planned and you need to pivot. Yes, Symmetry has been cancelled. But there are popup parties happening at Mad Hatters, Noble House and the Hideaway. And let's not forget the Art Walk on the square tonight (with the wiener dog races) So if you find yourself in town looking for something to do, there are alternatives. (and no mud is involved)
