Fairfield University Alumni

This spring, the Fairfield University Alumni of Color Network hosted its 3rd annual Feminine Hygiene Drive in St. Ambrose Hall on Fairfield Bellarmine Campus. Volunteers from student organizations, including the Center for Social Impact and Fairfield University Campus Ministry, came together to collect, sort, and assemble feminine hygiene kits. The event marked its largest drive to date, with more than 50 volunteers participating, 575 hygiene kits assembled, and more than 4,600 items donated.

In honor of National Jesuit Service Month this past April, members of the Fairfield University alumni community came together to serve both on campus and throughout their local communities.

Through volunteer efforts with organizations including Best Buddies Friendship Walk, Scouting America, Connecticut Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic (CTMOM), Tharros Village, and SHINE Soup Kitchen, our alumni embodied the Jesuit value of being people for others. Congratulations to Caleigh (Tansey) Lewis ’12, who has officially completed the Abbott World Marathon Majors circuit, earning her coveted Six Star Medal at the 2026 Tokyo Marathon. 🏅

Over nearly a decade of dedication, Caleigh conquered the NYC (2017 & 2018), Chicago (2019), Boston (2021), Berlin (2022), London (2024), and Tokyo (2026) Marathons — joining an elite group of just 2,094 runners to earn Six Star finisher status at the 2026 Tokyo Marathon. 🌍🏃‍♀️

Francesca Federico '10, co-founder and president of Twelve Points, shared her non-traditional path to wealth management and insights on authenticity as a growth tool at the AdvisorHub Women Advisors Summit. Federico closed with the three guiding principles behind her work: do good, make money, and have fun—values she believes are interconnected in building both successful advisors and meaningful client relationships.

Carly (Hastings) Williams ’18 MEd’19 ran the Boston Marathon with fellow Fairfield University alumni cheering her on along the course. In honor of her dad, she raised over $18,000 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Fellow Class of 2018 graduates Lauren Steele ’18, Christy Carlucci ’18, Sophie Fontaine ’18, and Caroline Fagen ’18 were there along the race route, supporting her every step of the way in this incredible accomplishment.
