THE BOOK OF ISAIAH(Bible Study of Chapter One)

The Vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz WHICH HE SAW(as a witness) concerning JUDAH and JERUSALEM…(picturing all the nations of Israel beside Judah).
(verse 1)

HEAR, O Heavens, and GIVE EAR, O earth

WHY? “for the Lord hath spoken”. THE WORD OF GOD spoken in HEAVEN, sent to the earth with a special attachment/instruction! GIVE EAR! In other words... stop what you are doing, and LISTEN!

This involves something WE MUST DO! As an inhabitant of the earth, we are being commanded to LISTEN, to put priority on the WORD OF GOD!

GIVE EAR, not to CLOSE OFF YOUR EARS! Not to go off and not pay attention, or to pay attention to something else!

The LORD hath spoken, and here is what God says: “I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

1 Timothy 4:6, speaks of a “good minister nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine”.
The LORD is speaking of the ministry of Jesus Christ, “for the churches were established in the faith” so says Acts 16:5, and the GOOD MINISTER which has been nourished, The Lord calling them HIS CHILDREN.

Now The Lord says these ministers HAVE REBELLED AGAINST HIM! Wow.

In Revelation 12:14, we see that the woman, picturing the one and true Church of God, going into a place of safety to be NOURISHED. SO what does that mean? It means ministers will be trained there. It tells me that Ambassador College will be restarted there. Isaiah, is talking about those who have ALREADY BEEN CALLED and NOURISHED, already have been given their ministerial credentials. They were ONCE GOOD MINISTERS, for they were NOURISHED with the words of faith and of GOOD DOCTRINE. They established churches, or congregations of the one true Church of God, but they ended up REBELLING.

God’s Word says they have turned away, and rebelled.

“The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.”(Isaiah 1:3-4)

“Israel DOES NOT KNOW” This is a failure of the ministry! They ought to have made the nations of Israel to KNOW.
“my people does not consider”

“they have forsaken the Lord”

Remember Judges 10:13 “Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.” The PROTECTION OF GOD IS WITHDRAWN from those who have FORSAKEN the Lord.

We read in Revelation 12:14-17, how God is PROTECTING HIS CHURCH, and how another group called “the remnant of her seed” is not protected but faces WAR waged upon them by the dragon, which is Satan the Devil. The Great Tribulation! Why? Because THEY HAVE FORSAKEN THE LORD!

Now, Isaiah goes into details about this.

They do not KNOW THE LORD.(Isaiah 1:3)

We read in 1 John 2:3-4, “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

In 1 John 3:2-8, we read, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”

So we know WHY they do not know the Lord. It is through SIN, and SIN is the breaking or transgression of the Law of God(the Ten Commandments).
The remnant in Revelation 12:17, is not protected because of SIN, and sin SEPARATES US FROM GOD.(Isaiah 59:1-2)

“Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”

Isaiah 5:12-13 reads more on what we see concerning those NOT PROTECTED from the coming Tribulation.

“And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in THEIR FEASTS: but they regard not the work of the Lord, neither consider the operation of his hands. Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.”

I want you to notice, God speaks of THEIR FEASTS.

Exodus 31:13, we read here in the Word of God, “Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you.”

They were NOURISHED by God, and brought up in the Word of God, and they kept the FEASTS and SABBATHS of the Lord. But when they started to rebel, they continued with feasts, but it was THEIR FEASTS, THEIR SABBATHS.

“...they regard not the work of the Lord”, Isaiah writes, “neither consider the operation of his hands.”(Isaiah 5:12)

They are involved with a DIFFERENT WORK. They keep feasts as well. They learned WELL from God’s one and true Church! But they rebelled against God somehow, and through separation of sin, they go into captivity, and not into a place of safety.

Isaiah 1:3, Isaiah writes what God says about them, they do NOT CONSIDER, and later in chapter five, we see they do not CONSIDER the Work of the Lord. They are too involved with their own works.

Verse 4, “Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.”

Jeremiah 6:26-30, we read “O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us. I have set thee for a tower and a fortress among my people, that thou mayest know and try their way. They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters. The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away. Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the Lord hath rejected them.”

This is speaking of the days of the TWO WITNESSES, who is girded with sackcloth.(Revelation 11:3)

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.”

This is depicting a CORRUPTION OF WHAT ONCE WAS! This is a people who haven’t removed the wicked away from their congregations! They included them. This is one of the major problems Mr. Armstrong found out about the 1970’s with the wicked being left in, and elevated into offices of ministry. Once he found out about it, he closed Ambassador College, and began cleaning out the ministry, and work, and began a refresher course to ensure all of them were equipped and NOURISHED with the words of faith, and of good doctrine.

So we start seeing, God is revealing about a people who keep the wicked in, which began to corrupt that which was good.

They are reprobate silver, because the Lord has rejected them! This is talking about a people, ministers specifically, who attended with the people of God, who began loving people more than God, and began to corrupt what God had already established and given through His government in His Church. They actually keep the Holy Days, and Sabbaths, and the “fundamental doctrines”(what they call them), watering down doctrines, and liberalizing the things of God, but they are MEANT TO BE REMOVED, for they are grievous revolters...and that means against the government of God….walking with slanders….They move with slanders in their minds, against Herbert W Armstrong and the government of God that was restored to the Worldwide Church of God!

Isaiah 1: 4, says “they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they have gone away backwards”.

To go backwards, you have to retreat from a point that has been acknowledged. You have to know the truth to reject it.

“Why should ye be stricken any more?” (verse 5)

This is a warning before the Great Tribulation. Verses 5-7 talks about the condition of those since 1986, who are GOING INTO THE TRIBULATION.

“ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.”

Notice the condition of the one and true Church of God.

“And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city. Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as S***m, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.”(verses 8-9)

Now what were S***m and Gomorrah? They were cities FILLED WITH SIN and INIQUITIES! They were unrepentant cities, who were destroyed by the wrath of God.

Now, this is talking about those WHO WERE NOT as S***m and Gomorrah, called a remnant, but not the remnant of Revelation 12:17, who was not delivered because of sin and iniquity.

These were those still holding fast as the Worldwide Church of God, part of the original group, which was NOURISHED but didn’t rebel against God.

God is addressing those who LEFT THE CHURCH, who mingled among the people of God, as ministers and leaders, who left to do their own works, not considering the work of God.

“Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of S***m…”

This requires A PREACHER WHO IS SENT to declare that word!

(John 6:63; John 17:14-18)

“...give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah>”

Again, this means to STOP THE ENGINES, and PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT IS BEING SAID.

Now notice! We get into more details of WHOM God is speaking to!

“To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord...”(verse 11)

They are ACTIVE in a work they call “The WORK OF GOD”, they are calling themselves “THE CHURCH OF GOD”, for it is their altar in which all sacrifices are being made to!

God says, what purpose are you doing this? Why are you laboring in my name?

“When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?”(verse 12)

God is addressing those who CAME INTO HIS CHURCH, INTO the Worldwide Church of God, just to REBEL and to create more groups.

“Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.”(Isaiah 1:12-13)

These are creating NEW ASSEMBLIES, they are gathering together as groups, to keep the sabbaths, they are even keeping the SOLEMN MEETING which is Passover!

Now, people have argued with me about these groups teaching the “fundamental beliefs”, keeping the sabbath, Holy days(annual sabbaths), and Passover etc etc.

BUT GOD SAYS IT IS INIQUITY! WOW!

“Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.”

When the members of the Worldwide Church of God enter their groups, they are destroyed from being members of the Worldwide Church of God, and they are from that point forward known only as the members of such-n-such church of God. This has placed the blood of the saints on THEIR HANDS.

What does God say for them to do?

“Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.”(verses 16-20)

“seek judgment”. This means, stop saying they are the leadership! That means, seek what God’s servant has declared.

Many of the things people reject about Mr. Armstrong is on his judgements. This verse is saying, that His Church isn’t without leadership! The Worldwide Church of God is still existing, and God is still ruling through those INSIDE the Church. The rest who have gone out to start their own works, God hates, and says he will not protect!

Also, in those previous verses, it describes the taking of the Passover, for Christ’s blood can only make us clean and white! God is dealing with their ASSEMBLIES, their groups, their passovers, their holy days and sabbaths!

They once were with the Worldwide Church of God, they tread HIS COURTS. It isn’t the other way around. It is not speaking of these groups, as if they were His Courts, but it is speaking of the Worldwide Church of God, and those who attended there, who have gone out and created their own assemblies and works, and God is CALLING ON THEM TO REPENT.(Rev. 3:14-21)

And when they do, they become the Church of God. Now if that is before the Tribulation, that requires them to be the Worldwide Church of God, to return and submit to God. If the Tribulation already has started and they repent, they are the Laodicean Church, for it is an obedient “remnant”(Rev. 12:17)with no promise of protection because they have sin yet to repent of!

God says, there will be leadership in the Worldwide Church of God! He says HIS MOUTH HAS SPOKEN IT, and a sentence of DEATH is upon you who rebel. THE SWORD WILL FALL UPON YOU! That is the war being spoken about in Revelation 12:17.

“How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.”(verse 21)

This is depicting the Worldwide Church of God brethren. The Churches(congregations) were established in the faith(Acts 16:5), full of judgement coming down from Christ through His apostle, Christ Himself lodging in it!

But in talking about the takeover of the Church, these rebels, are called “murderers”.

“Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water: Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.”(verses 22-23)

What happened to the property, organizations, assets of the Worldwide Church of God? They were stolen, and here God is declaring it.

It is THESE who went out and created new groups, arguing and bickering with each other, seeking after to draw away the membership of the Worldwide Church of God.

God will deal with them and RESTORE the Worldwide Church of God.
“ Therefore saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin: And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.”(verses 24-26)

Why is no one else declaring this among these groups, and publicly? The restoration of the Worldwide Church of God? Nah, they don’t want anything to do with it.

Verse 27, talks about the work of an apostle, concerning “judgments”. To judge another equals having authority and leadership. In 1 Corinthians 6:4, we are told to “set them to judge who are least esteemed in the Church”

“Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.”

What is righteousness? Believing God. (Gen. 15:6; James 2:23)

“And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the Lord shall be consumed. For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen. For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water. And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.”(verses 28-31)

This is speaking of the Lake of Fire. Also it mentions the Oaks.

Now notice Joshua 24:25-27, “So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem. And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the Lord. And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the Lord which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God.”

That is the TABERNACLE, and the great stone was Jacob’s Pillar Stone. Notice he placed it under an oak.

Now notice Judges 6:11-16, concerning a man named GIDEON, a man of Manasseh which today he would be called an AMERICAN.

“And there came an angel of the Lord, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites. And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour. And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? but now the Lord hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house. And the Lord said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.”

God sends forth GIDEON. Christ does the same doesn’t He!
In 1 Corinthians 6:4, we see again, as Gideon was least esteemed, those set to JUDGE are picked from the least esteemed in the Church!

And God is talking about a RESTORATION done through JUDGEMENT, and in RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Notice John 17:8 “For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.”

John 6:29 reads “Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”

So again, the Work of God is being done, Christ gave the words of God to HIS APOSTLES, WHO THEREFORE GAVE JUDGEMENTS in the Church, and this is how the restoration of the Worldwide Church of God will come about. THROUGH AN APOSTLE.

Why do I say an apostle? Because I agree with Herbert W Armstrong who wrote “The prophets set in the foundation of the Church are those of the Old Testament, whose writings were used to form a considerable part of New Testament and gospel teaching and functioning. No prophets are mentioned as having either administrative, executive or preaching functions in the New Testament Church.(Mystery of the Ages Chapter 6)

Therefore the leader of the TWO WITNESSES must be an apostle who is sent forth by Christ, as Gideon was.

God calls on those WHO LEFT, to start their own groups, TO REPENT, and to RETURN, or go into the Lake of Fire. Those who refuse to obey God, will be PURGED AWAY, by the coming Great Tribulation and day of the Lord.

“And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.”(verse 26)

That is Isaiah Chapter 1. There are 65 chapters left.

I’m seeing a lot more wolves in sheep’s clothing, going after people searching for the true Church.

They stand in the crossways, delivering them to death as Obadiah declares!

I wept this morning over it. God will deal with these wolves. I’ll stand up and warn against them! As you ought to as well! You aren’t in training to be sheep! You are in training to be shepherds in the World Tomorrow! And if you choose to not stand up with Christ against the wolves in sheep’s clothing, you won’t enter the Kingdom of God and you won’t marry Jesus Christ!

The Worldwide Church of God, is a spiritual organism.

Mr. Armstrong stated this: "Actually the Worldwide Church of God is a spiritual organism, created by GOD — not a legal corporate organization created by this world's laws."

This is a clear distinction being made between the CHURCH and any legal corporate organization.

Mr. Armstrong also stated: "The members of the Church are NOT members of the "Worldwide Church of God, Inc."

So why are we told the Worldwide Church of God is a mere corporation, or name? We are told it no longer exists, yet we have a promise from Jesus Christ in Matthew 16:18, that the gates of the grave would never destroy the Church created by God.

Mr. Armstrong stated: "the laity of the Church received their teaching and instruction from the apostles."

He also stated: "But what of the separated individual believer, who tries to GET his salvation all by himself or by following some MAN or any of hundreds of professing Christian denominations of our day? He is CUT OFF from that TRUE teaching, which Christ reveals to and through His apostle!"

This TRUE TEACHING, that Christ reveals to and through His apostle, is lost when you go outside of the Church, following MEN instead of Jesus Christ.

Mr. Armstrong stated: "There has been much discussion at Pasadena between certain ministers of lower than Apostle rank, as to the CHURCH binding and loosing. So now let it be MADE OFFICIAL — by Christ's present-day Apostle — that this binding and loosing PLAINLY, CLEARLY, was given to Christ's chief APOSTLE — not to lower-rank ministers ordained by his authority — not by the CHURCH as a body — but by the APOSTLE!"

The apostle Herbert W Armstrong stated: "What if one in the Church disagrees on some point of doctrine? Then he is out of harmony with God's Church. And GOD HAS ONLY THE ONE CHURCH.
"And all in the Church are commanded to speak the same thing — and it must be what CHRIST, either in person or by written Word, has taught His apostle.
"To the church at Corinth, the apostle Paul wrote: "Now I beseech you brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing". (I Corinthians 1:10) Some of them wanted to follow Peter, some wanted to follow Apollos, some Paul. But PAUL was their apostle and Christ taught them by PAUL.
"The separated individual believer will follow his own idea of God's truth. THAT IS NOT GOD'S WAY.
"God in His almighty wisdom, has raised up the CHURCH, as HIS MEANS of teaching all the SAME TRUTH — all speaking the SAME THING! Not each individual his own thing!
"God raised up the CHURCH, not only that its apostles and evangelists go into all the world announcing the GOOD NEWS of the coming Kingdom of God, but also as the very means for the general body of lay members to develop God's own holy righteous CHARACTER — by means of GIVING — giving their continuous prayers for the apostle, giving their encouragement, tithes and offerings.
"WHAT then, of the person who follows after a man outside the Church or tries to GET his salvation simply by GETTING and not GIVING that which members are to give to the Church's Work? Consider Jesus' parable of the pounds in Luke 19. The pound is the British unit of money. Jesus illustrated Himself giving each member, on conversion, one pound — representing the Holy Spirit given at conversion. But the Christian MUST GROW in grace and Christ's knowledge. As he does, by GIVING in the Church, he receives an increasing amount of God's Spirit. The isolated, separated member will probably LOSE OUT (see Luke 19:20-24)."

If an individual goes off speaking something different, he/she is not following Jesus Christ, not speaking the same thing the apostle has spoken, and follows his/her own ideas of God's truth. He/she is OUT OF HARMONY WITH GOD'S ONE TRUE CHURCH!

We also need see this point clearly! When you follow MEN outside of the Church, you lose the TRUE TEACHING that Christ reveals to and through His apostle! You begin to accept a SUBSTITUTE, not from God! And you go off the track.

Herbert W Armstrong wrote: "The person who says "I will get my salvation alone, outside of the Church" is totally deceived. This is not the time when salvation is opened to those in Satan's world. Those called now, I repeat emphatically, are NOT CALLED just for salvation. They are called for a special training provided only in God's Church.
"Those in Satan's world cannot train themselves outside of the Church for the special calling of being rulers and teachers in God's kingdom when Satan is removed and the world has become God's world.
"The Church is ORGANIZED on GOD'S pattern of mutual teamwork and cooperation to function perfectly together. They shall become the GOD FAMILY as it shall exist at the time of Christ's Second Coming. Remember God IS that divine family!
"Take an analogy from Satan's world. A football player says: "I want to play in all of the games, but I'll train alone. I don't want to be part of the TEAM until the games start." Would the coach let him be part of the team in the games, without having learned TEAMWORK during practice season? Neither will God let one INTO his family at the resurrection who refused to be part of it now — in the CHURCH — in the spiritual "training season."
"To those chosen to be apostles in the start of the CHURCH, Jesus said, speaking of the CHURCH:
"I am the vine, ye are the branches." Those not joined with others of the branches, all joined to the main vine, were NO PART OF THE CHURCH, and God the Father will cast them away as DEAD branches. The LIFE (spirit life impregnated now) is received along with all other "branches" from the main vine — Christ, the Head of the CHURCH!
"What about one who has been IN Christ's "spiritual BODY" — the Church — and is PUT OUT for cause (causing division or rebellion or opposition to Church government)? The CHURCH is like a human mother who is pregnant. If there is an abortion, the HUMAN LIFE departs totally from the fetus. There is, however, perhaps one difference in this analogy. A human who goes out, or is put out of God's Church, could, on repentance and renewed belief, be admitted back into the body again."
(Mystery of the Ages, Chapter 6)

So, we see brethren, that if one leaves the Church, and gets cut off from the TRUE TEACHING that Christ reveals to and through His apostle, and starts to follow MEN, and their own ideas of God's Truth, we see they are not going to be connected to the BRANCHES, which are "apostles" according to Jesus Christ! Therefore, the golden oil or the Holy Spirit is CUT OFF FROM THEM, and they are dead sticks, until they repent and have that Holy Spirit again flowing into them, as they stick with Christ's apostles!

So let us look at this TRUE TEACHING of the authority of the Apostle of Jesus Christ. That Jesus Christ reveals truth, doctrines to and binds and loosens only through the "apostle".

Now what about the man/woman, who disagrees with the judgement of the apostle of Christ! They are in DISHARMONY with the one and true Church(and there is only one) which is headed by Jesus Christ!

So we see many people walking is DISHARMONY, and that is going to KEEP THEM from making it to the Place of Safety. If they are in DISHARMONY, by assembling as a separate group, because they are following a man, or their own ideas on God's Truth, Jesus Christ CANNOT USE THEM.

Herbert W Armstrong writes: "Now churches or works OF THEIR OWN have been started. But they overlook one thing: “EXCEPT THE LORD BUILD THE HOUSE THEY LABOR IN VAIN THAT BUILD IT.” God is NOT raising up and building a “house” based on resentment, bitterness and strife — on attempt to DESTROY what GOD has built and build something for SELF — on attempt to DESTROY the Worldwide Church of God by their false witness and false accusation of wrong-doing in God’s Church, bringing about the massive lawsuit by America’s largest state to try to take over and DESTROY the Church of the living GOD! — and to build for THEMSELVES by “siphoning off” to their own work the members of the Worldwide Church of GOD!

These "cog" groups, are in DISHARMONY with the one and true Church...the Worldwide Church of God. They have their own ideas, they follow, and people are following MEN instead of Jesus Christ.

People get upset at this often. They think "why Herbert W Armstrong is just a fallible man", if I follow him, I follow a man, and I will never do that!"

THE BIG DIFFERENCE is Herbert W Armstrong was raised up by Jesus Christ, and PLACED in front of you, and you are commanded to FOLLOW HIM in Christ.

Today, people spread rumors, false reports, and false accusations of wrong doing, against the Worldwide Church of God in order to try to SIPHON OFF TO THEMSELVES AND TO THEIR WORK!

I am here to remind you of the true Church Jesus Christ founded 31 A.D, which is the Worldwide Church of God, and how Jesus Christ leads those INSIDE of this Church today. Let us hold fast, and let no man take our crowns, Let's not follow them OUTSIDE of the Church and do not listen to their fair speeches meant to gain you as supporter for their work.

I have been sent to the nations, to declare this! To stand up and declare the Worldwide Church of God STILL EXISTS! Brethren, stand up with me. Let's be in harmony. Let's not walk disorderly any longer. Let us repent with all our hearts, and let Christ place each of us back on the right track.
