Dance Create Collaborate was a tremendous success, and we were thrilled to perform to a almost full house! 🎦🎉🌟📸
Thank you to everyone for supporting our students, our program, and for bringing such motivating energy throughout the entire show.
SCC Dance would also like to extend a huge thank you to our incredible guest performers who joined us for our Spring Dance Concert. Special shoutout to the dance programs from Vallejo High School, Las Positas College, and Ballet Folklorico Netzahualcoyotl for sharing their talent and artistry with us.💐
Congratulations to Evangeline, Dagmar, Craig, Joseph, Kat, Daymon, ASL students Miah, Brianna, and lighting designer Emily for their outstanding work in making this production come to life.
We were honored to welcome Superintendent-President Dr. Kellie Butler, Solano Board Member Marie Young, Solano Board Member Rosemary Thurston, and Van Cedric Williams from the CTA Board of Directors District A. Your support means so much to our students, faculty and the program.❤️❤️
This event truly was a “Fusion in Motion” through the power of collaboration, creativity, and community.
Concert photos are coming soon!

Meet the Dance Production Dancers🌟😉✨❤️
Tierza Burton started Solano College as a high school senior in 2023.
Her major is oceanography. She loves dancing and learning choreography on her own.
She is very excited to be in her first dance class this semester!
She loves learning to dance because it strengthens her body to move freely and trains her mind to be present.
Tierza believes that dancing feels like a celebration of how she is made and what she can do.
She is excited to perform with the people she has met in the Dance Production class and can’t wait to show her family, friends, and the school what they have been working on!
A fun fact about her is that she is also a rock climber.

Joseph DaRosa* (born August 28, 1993) is a performer and creative artist whose work is rooted in authenticity, resilience, and self-expression. Originally from California.
Joseph brings a unique life perspective to the stage, using movement and performance as a way to tell real stories and connect with audiences on a deeper level.
His journey hasn’t been conventional, but that’s exactly what fuels his presence as a performer.
Drawing from lived experience, Joseph approaches dance as more than just choreography—it’s a form of release, growth, and
transformation.
Whether on stage or behind the scenes, he is committed to
evolving as an artist and pushing himself beyond limits.
Outside of dance, Joseph is also a content creator and musician, building a platform that reflects his lifestyle, creativity, and ambition. With a focus on staying true to himself, he continues to carve out his own lane while inspiring others to do the same.
