Designed for nurses looking to expand their career opportunities, Fairfield Egan's Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Nursing Leadership program prepares graduates for roles in clinical leadership, care coordination, education, quality improvement, risk management, and other emerging areas.

With flexible full-time and part-time options and an asynchronous format, the program allows students to balance graduate education with clinical practice.

Forty-two nurse anesthesia residents marked the beginning of their clinical education at this year’s Nurse Anesthesia Capping Ceremony, coming together for the first time as a full cohort from Austin, Texas and Fairfield, Connecticut.

The ceremony featured guest speaker Yana Krmic, CRNA, an experienced clinician, leader, advocate, author, and former president of the New York State Association of New York State Association of Nurse Anesthetists (NYSANA), who encouraged students as they prepare to enter the field.

With the support of the Fairfield Egan community behind them, these future nurse anesthetists step forward with a strong sense of purpose and responsibility as they begin this next chapter.

From meeting their future classmates to exploring campus, Orientation marked a special moment for the Class of 2030.

Soon, a new class of future nurses and healthcare leaders will join the Fairfield Egan community, while our returning students prepare for another semester on campus. 🩺 📚

Fairfield Egan’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Family Nurse Practitioner program combines advanced clinical education with hands-on experience through experiential learning across a variety of healthcare settings.

Through cohort-based coursework and clinical practice in clinics, private practices, hospitals, and other healthcare settings, students gain the skills needed to promote health, prevent disease, and lead within today’s healthcare landscape.

Students from Fairfield Egan and the Fairfield University John Charles Meditz College of Arts and Sciences traveled to New York City this February for an interdisciplinary learning experience at the Tenement Museum.

Led by faculty in public health and the arts, the visit encouraged students to explore the intersection of history, culture, and lived experience while connecting classroom learning to the world around them.
