Follow Me Montessori Pre-School students have been discovering recycling this week. Today, they had a real life experience where they brought trash from home and decided which bin to place the item in. They understood very well. They also learned one other aspect of recycling, but you'll have to ask them.

We are actively hiring for the position of Teacher's Assistant!

Job Description:
Person must be a high school graduate, 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or higher education, compassionate towards and have a heart to teach young children. Our school has 3, 4, and 5 year olds.

Willing to work from 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Thursday and 8:00 to 4:30 on Friday. Must be dependable and trustworthy, plus have dependable transportation.

Person will be responsible for teaching the PK3 children using the plans I have given. You will also be responsible for teaching art. You will also need to help the other children if needed.

Person must be willing to satisfy required annual training hours by Human Health Services. You will also need to satisfy required pre-training hours before reporting to work. I pay for them if you pass.

Before any of the above can happen, person must pass a criminal history including fingerprints.

There's nothing like God's creation to attract children's attention❣ During recess my students gathered around and watched the horned beetle with amazement, questions, and laughter for a long time. Thank you, God, as your timing is always perfect. You knew we've been studying about insects❣

Letters of intent are due Thursday, March 28, 2024. After this date, I will know how many spots are available. The waiting list is 7 pages. Parents are eager to hear if their child will be able to attend Follow Me Montessori Pre-School next school year.

Before signing your child up, please understand this is not a daycare but a school with the best curriculum and expectations! For your child to have full benefit of the program, they need to attend for three years. However, if a spot opens for PK4 and you commit to their staying their kindergarten year, a spot could be available. Although this wouldn't be a three-year stay, academic achievements can still be attained due to the maturity of age.

Best wishes and I look forward to meeting new parents and students. Registration will begin April 2, 2024.
