This afternoon was our second week of SPIN clubs. The Forestry & Wildlife club took a nature walk to collect leaves then built a leaf press. The Crafting club made more bookmarks and cards and then created Duct tape projects. During National 4-H Week, October 4-10, we will be highlighting our own 4-H members what they love about 4-H through a series of Facebook posts. 🍀 SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY! 🍀

Are you a college student who enjoys working with kids, STEM, agriculture, or hands-on learning? Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Region 26 is looking for TWO Community Impact Interns to join us for summer 2027!

Interns will help bring exciting Iowa 4-H experiences to youth in Davis, Jefferson, and Van Buren Counties through hands-on STEM and agriculture day camps. This is a great opportunity to build professional experience in education, youth development, program planning, and community engagement while making a difference for local youth!

📅 May 17-August 6
⏰ 12 weeks | Up to 40 hours/week
💰 $15/hour
📍 Programming in Davis, Jefferson, and Van Buren Counties
🚗 Mileage reimbursed for program-related travel

Who should apply?
College students who are dependable, enthusiastic, and interested in working with youth! Experience with 4-H, FFA, camps, classrooms, coaching, mentoring, STEM, agriculture, or other youth programs is a plus.
