FFU Counseling Alumni

Our Alumni peer support/supervision group meets this Saturday, June 28th at 10 am at our new meeting location - in the meeting room above the downtown Fairfield University Bookstore at 1499 Post Road. There is a parking lot behind the building, and limited on street parking. Starbucks in the bookstore. Starbucks opens at 9:00am, bookstore opens at 10am. Enter the 2nd floor through the stairs in the bookstore.

The next in-person gathering is on Saturday, May 24th at 10am, Alumni House on Campus.
We will be moving to a new location for June - hope to have the location confirmed by Saturday.
We have a wonderful Alumni who has generously offered to facilitate a virtual gathering. The first zoom will be on Monday, June 9th at 8pm. Please message me if you are interested and would like the link.

This Saturday, April 26th, we will have our monthly Alumni peer support/supervison group at 10 am in the Alumni House on campus.

How does your practice, agency, or supervisor calculate hours towards licensing for LPCA’s? For instance, do you use a formula like 1.5 hours for each session? Or do you include session time plus additional time for notes, training, etc.? There appears to be a lot of variation, and one member is seeking this information to help advocate for more consistency across the field. Your insights would be greatly appreciated! Counseling Alumni Peer Supervision/ Support meeting is on Saturday, January 25th from 10am-11:30am. We will be meeting at Alumni House (through the campus main gate, 1st right).
