Big feelings are part of growing up! 💛😊

This October, our little learners here at The Learning Experience are diving into My Emotions and Feelings, a curriculum theme designed to help children better understand what they’re feeling, express themselves, and build the social-emotional skills they’ll use every day. 🌈💬

With Miss Chievous by their side, children will explore the many emotions they experience and discover simple ways to navigate big feelings. ✨

🏟️🏈 Game Day at TLE! ⚽🏀

Who says game day is just about watching sports? At The Learning Experience, we turned it into an exciting day of dramatic play, teamwork, and active fun!

Our classrooms transformed into their very own Bubble Stadium, where children stepped into different roles by selling tickets, running the concession stand, using pretend money, serving snacks, and welcoming their friends to the big event. Through imaginative play, they practiced communication, problem solving, early math, and social skills in a fun, hands-on way.

The excitement continued outdoors with Field Day games, where our little athletes cheered each other on, practiced teamwork, challenged their gross motor skills, and celebrated every success together. From balancing and tossing to running and laughing with friends, every activity encouraged confidence, cooperation, and healthy movement.

At TLE, learning comes to life through meaningful experiences that spark creativity, build friendships, and make every day an adventure. 💙💛

Our little heroes suited up with capes and masks and headed outside to complete their superhero training! Throughout the day, children practiced balancing, climbing, running, and navigating obstacle courses while using their imaginations to save the day.

Superhero play encourages so much more than fun! It helps build:

At The Learning Experience, STEAM isn't just a special activity. It's part of how our children explore the world every single day!

From colorful chemistry experiments and fizzy reactions to engineering with magnetic tiles, creating art with fluffy foam, and making exciting scientific predictions, our little learners are developing critical thinking skills through hands-on discovery.

Throughout these experiences, our teachers encourage children to ask questions like:

🎉⭕ Hoopla, Laughter, and Learning! ⭕

Our friends had an amazing time welcoming Bring the Hoopla to The Learning Experience!

From spinning hoops and balancing challenges to exciting movement games and group activities, the children were smiling from ear to ear while building important developmental skills. As they jumped, twirled, balanced, and explored, they strengthened their gross motor skills, coordination, balance, body awareness, and confidence, all while having an absolute blast!

Movement-based experiences like these also encourage children to follow directions, practice listening skills, take turns, and cheer one another on. Most importantly, they remind us that learning doesn't always happen sitting at a table. Sometimes, the greatest lessons happen while we're moving, laughing, and making memories together.

A huge thank you to Bring the Hoopla for bringing so much energy, excitement, and joy to our playground. We can't wait to have you back!

🐣 Meet Cluck Norris, Egg-Atha, and Rhoda! 🐣

At The Learning Experience, we believe the best learning happens through meaningful, hands-on experiences that spark wonder and inspire young minds. Watching these tiny chicks enter the world has been an unforgettable adventure, and one our children will remember for years to come!

Throughout this hands-on science experience, the children learned about the life cycle of a chicken, discovered how eggs stay warm inside an incubator, and eagerly waited for the exciting moment when the chicks began to hatch. One of the most amazing discoveries was learning that baby chicks actually cheep from inside their eggs before they hatch! Listening for those tiny peeps made the experience even more magical.

To deepen their learning, classrooms also enjoyed reading Charlie's Hatch Party, where they explored the stages of a chicken's life cycle and made connections between the story and the real chicks they were watching hatch. Seeing the process unfold in real life helped bring the book to life in a meaningful and memorable way.

After hatching, the children loved observing our fluffy new friends, asking questions, and watching them grow each day. This project encouraged curiosity, patience, observation, and empathy as our children learned about caring for living things.
