There are just 201 members of the 2026 UIL All-State Journalism Staff across Texas, and FOUR are from Fairfield High School!

Congratulations to 2026 FHS graduates Callie Morgan, Bailey Holland, and Bethany George, and current FHS senior Adalyn Peterson on earning this outstanding recognition!

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, September 1 and come out for a full evening of Eagle spirit at the Johnson Activity Center!

📣 Stuff the Eagle | 5–7 PM
During the JV and varsity volleyball games, stop by and create your very own Eagle! For $25, you can stuff it, adopt it, give it a name, and snap a photo with your new Eagle and the Eagle mascot.

Virtual Tour: Main Band Hall 🎶

One of the exciting changes for the Grand Band from Eagle Land will be having the Band Hall on the high school campus. Currently, FHS band students walk across the parking lot and road to the junior high for band, while the football field and auditorium they use for marching and performances are located at the high school.

The new Band Hall is in a great location, positioned just steps away from the Performing Arts Center, football field, and bus loading area. Whether students are heading out for marching practice, preparing for a concert or loading up for a performance, everything will be close by.

The new Fairfield High School is scheduled to welcome students in August 2028.

Welcome to Fairfield ISD, Kaitlyn Gilbert!

Kaitlyn joins Fairfield Intermediate School as a paraprofessional. She has a special connection to Fairfield, having attended Fairfield ISD from kindergarten through 8th grade. Her mom is also a Fairfield graduate!

Outside of school, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her niece, Madison, and nephews, Cade and Cooper, watching her brother Eli play football, traveling, and spending time with family.

“It’s bittersweet to be able to work where I used to attend school! I’m most excited to see the kids blossom as they learn new skills!”

We’re excited to welcome Kaitlyn back to Fairfield ISD, this time as a member of our team!

Big news for Texas classrooms and families! 📢 Take Care of Texas is thrilled to share a sneak peek at this year's Take Care of Texas Art Contest.
Starting this October, they are officially expanding the program to include all students in grades K-12! This means middle and high school students can now participate alongside elementary grade levels, giving older youth a platform to combine creative expression with environmental stewardship.
