Pistol & Rifle Applications with is a look into how to build a solid foundation with your pistol (Day 1) and Rifle (day 2). We break things way down and then build back up so as shooters not only have a solid understanding of the fundamentals and mechanics but, they understand the why’s of how they’re training. This course is intended to be a road map to becoming proficient. This is an intermediate level class that a new shooter looking to find out ways to step up to the next level will greatly benefit from. It’s also a class that higher level shooters can come to refine techniques and learn to push speed and accuracy. Pistol & Rifle Applications is a great class to not only build confidence but to learn where to go from here.

The ShivWorks Extreme Close Quarter Concepts (ECQC) course is a two-and-a-half-day (20-hour) block of instruction that offers a multi-disciplinary approach to building functional, combative handgun skills at zero to five feet. The course is designed to instill core concepts of seamless integration and provide the platform for aggressive problem solving during a life or death struggle at arm’s length or closer. We emphasize the common body mechanics that apply across different skill sets. That way, all combative software is reinforcing. Once students’ skill sets are ingrained, they will be stress inoculated with force-on-force drills using marking cartridges and protective equipment.

SOLO is the deliberate & direct to threat structure problem solver course. It is intended for that single patrol officer who has limited resources available to him or is fighting against the clock due to an active killer. The program was designed to meet the needs of patrol officers or citizens looking to learn, improve & study solo response methods of patrol tactics and TTPs with a data driven & human behavior approach.
•
Our goal is to aid in building confidence during solo structure work and help reduce the “lag time” during common issues found in structure procedures. This course will help to create a better understanding of reduced personnel patrol structure mechanics (1-2 man) and close quarter battle procedures combined with Reality Based Training (RBT) and Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (NLTA) and Non-Lethal Weapons.
•
Students will be introduced to CQB workshops, force on target, light force and finally force on force. In order to provide reality based training with updated techniques and methods regarding solo structure dominance and close quarter battles.
