Teddy Bear Corner has three childcare programs in Fairfield, CT!
Our mission is to provide a positive, home-like atmosphere where children can learn, grow and flourish. The principles of early childhood education, in addition to the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (CT ELDS), are used to create age appropriate activities broken into two week “unit of studies” that reinforce a child’s natural curiosity and allow them to experience challenges and achievements while bolstering their self-confidence.

Our Younger Pre-K classroom was mixing up some fun today on their first day of school! Our friends experimented with color mixing and discovered a fun surprise along the way—hidden names written in white crayon that magically appeared as they painted over them with watercolors! 🎨

Our Younger Pre-K classroom worked on a “fin-tastic” project the other day- creating their own colorful school of fish by weaving yarn to create unique scale patterns! 🐟

There was some clowning around in our Youngest Infant (Room 5) classroom this morning as our friends finger painted their very own crazy haired clowns as they learned about our unit of study on “circus”!

Our Younger Infant (Room 1) classroom had lots of fun learning about different colors, sizes and textures by using pom poms and plastic balls in their sensory table as a part of our unit of study on “circus”!

It was also a busy afternoon in our Middle Toddler (Room 4) classroom! Our friends had lots of fun experimenting with watercolors and created a colorful collaborative masterpiece!

Our Transitional Preschool (OSR) program had a busy afternoon! They practiced their measuring and mixing skills by whipping up a batch of blue Jello, and then showed off their musical skills with their classroom karaoke machine! 🎤

Our Early Learning Center had a blast this morning celebrating the 4th of July with their friends and teachers! From firework inspired activities to enjoying lots of yummy treats during their classroom parties, they had lots of fun!
