Our very own Lauren Langston presenting the work identifying the bidirectional nature of Eating Disorders and Autoimmune Disorders. Her work was completed at Karolinska Institute in Sweden as part of the National Science Foundation GROW Fellowship. Did we mention she won the Best Student Abstract Award for this work at the Eating Disorders Research Society Conference in Leipzig Germany!? We are very proud of you Lauren!

The Impusle Lab at George Mason University conducts research studies on binge eating, purging, and alcohol abuse. We examine how personality traits influence these behaviors through deficits in emotion regulation, impulse control, and reward seeking.
The GMU Impulse lab is currently looking to recruit two new volunteer research assistants for a study looking at the mechanisms involved in dissonance-indcued attitude shift.
