I started public speaking and leadership training classes for school children in 2005. That program is now known as the Young Speakers Club (YSC). Over the last 18 years, the YSC program evolved into a holistic approach for children’s development that includes public speaking and debate, critical thinking and creativity, and leadership and motivation.
Many parents sit in my class as an audience and tell me how much they enjoy and learn from the sessions. But they are sad that they can’t attend all the classes when other responsibilities pull them. So, I decided to create videos of lessons and discussions to educate those who are unable to attend the weekly live-video classes. That includes my former students as well, many of whom are now well-placed professionals.
