One of the best classroom decisions I ever made?

Switching from individual desks to tables.

My students collaborated more, shared supplies more easily, and our classroom just felt more connected.

Was it perfect? Nope.

Would I do it again? Absolutely.

Are you Team Tables or Team Desks? 👇

I shared all the reasons I made the switch (plus the things I learned along the way) here:

Your classroom doesn't have to be Pinterest-perfect to be effective.

Some of the best changes I ever made had nothing to do with cute bulletin boards.

They were simple things like:

✔️ Creating a dedicated supply station
✔️ Leaving room for students to help decorate
✔️ Organizing spaces around my daily routines instead of how they looked

Those little changes made my classroom run so much more smoothly AND it made teaching a whole lot less stressful.

If you're setting up your room for a new school year, I shared the ideas that have actually worked for me over the years.
