🌿🐴 FSACC School Age Adventures at Point Reyes National Seashore! 🐴🌿
Our school-age children had an unforgettable day exploring Bear Valley through a wonderful collaboration between the Fairfax-San Anselmo Children's Center (FSACC) and the Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA).

A special thank you to our very own FSACC alumna, Francesca Dezza, now PRNSA's Youth & Community Programs Manager, for leading this incredible learning adventure. The children explored the Bear Valley Visitor Center, discovered the park's rich natural and cultural history, met with National Park Rangers, and visited the historic Morgan Horse Ranch, where they learned about the remarkable Morgan horses that continue to help protect and steward Point Reyes National Seashore.
Experiences like these inspire curiosity, deepen our connection with nature, and remind us that some of the best classrooms are found outdoors.

🌿🐴 ¡Aventura del Programa Escolar de (FSACC) en Point Reyes National Seashore (PRNSA)! 🐴🌿

Nuestras niñas y niños del Programa Escolar disfrutaron de un día inolvidable explorando Bear Valley, gracias a una hermosa colaboración entre el Fairfax-San Anselmo Children's Center (FSACC) y Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA).

Un agradecimiento muy especial a nuestra exalumna de FSACC, Francesca Dezza, quien es la Gerente de Programas para la Juventud y la Comunidad de PRNSA, por guiarnos en esta maravillosa experiencia. Las y los estudiantes exploraron el Centro de Visitantes de Bear Valley, conocieron la historia natural y cultural del parque, conversaron con guardaparques del Servicio de Parques Nacionales y visitaron el histórico Morgan Horse Ranch, donde aprendieron sobre los caballos Morgan y su importante papel en el cuidado y la protección de Point Reyes National Seashore.
Experiencias como estas despiertan la curiosidad, fortalecen nuestra conexión con la naturaleza y nos recuerdan que algunos de los mejores salones de clase están al aire libre. 💚🌎

What a beautiful weekend at the Fairfax Festival! Thank you to every volunteer, family, donor, and friend who marched, cheered, cooked, served, cleaned, and supported our parade and FSACC booth. Together, we showed what community looks like: joyful, welcoming, generous, and full of heart. 💛🌱

Thank you to Tania Howard-Gibbon for creating the beautiful parade banners that brought our vision to life: Building Brighter Futures Together. We are celebrating a future where generations of children will grow, learn, and thrive. Our joyful children and families, dressed as builders, gardeners, painters, electricians, and other community helpers, beautifully represented the spirit of the Center and the heart of our vision.

Through hands-on learning, imagination, and community care, FSACC continues to reflect the strength, resilience, and hope that make our community so special.

This amazing group of parents and children worked with care and dedication, making sure every detail was clean, organized, and ready for use. Their commitment reflects the heart of who we are. A community working together to support our center and one another.

Because of their efforts, we can continue preparing delicious, nutritious meals for our families and children in a space that reflects love, respect, and collective care.
