All persons attending Family Fun Night must have their own entrance tickets.
· Each entrance ticket is $10 per person and includes 2 Bingo booklets (total 10 games) and you will have a chance to win one of the 2 door prizes ·
Door and Bingo prizes, 20 Bucket Raffle prizes along with 8 Silent Auction baskets sponsored by the 6th graders. ·
This is not a drop off event and adults will need to accompany their Pandas ·

Attention kindergarten and first grade families! Sign up to join the GBW Cheer Squad! This group of little pandas will cheer on the big pandas as they play basketball at the upcoming One Greenbriar basketball event on April 3. GBW will play GBE on the court at Chantilly High School at 6pm.

Practices will be on Wednesdays after school in the GBW gym until 5pm.

Cooking Club (Sticky Fingers Cooking Of Northern Virginia), Art Academy (Kidcreate Studio), and our Math Club (for 3rd and 4th graders) are open for registration. Please sign up today as classes begin soon and need a minimum of participants to join.

Attention 5th and 6th grade families! LAST CHANCE to sign up!

The GBW PTA is in the early stages of planning to set up a basketball team to play against 5th and 6th graders from Greenbriar East at the GBE vs GBW "One Greenbriar" Event on April 3. If your 5th or 6th grader is interested in playing on the GBW basketball team, please fill out this interest form. There will be a few mandatory practice sessions after school in March on Tuesdays to prepare for the game.

FCPS schools and offices will close three hours early on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Athletics and activities are canceled.

UPDATE 2/11/25 at 1:12pm: SACC programs, located in both FCPS buildings and NCS community centers, will now close at 5 p.m. NCS administration requests that families plan to pick up your child(ren) as soon as possible, and no later than 5 p.m. If there are extenuating circumstances and you are unable to pick up your child(ren) or make arrangements for your child(ren) to be picked up by 5 p.m., please notify your SACC center as soon as possible. Centers will remain open until all children have been picked up.

Girls on the Run (3rd-6th girls) and Let Me Run (4th-6th boys) return to GBW

These clubs can happen at GBW thanks to volunteers like YOU! Both programs are help students grow both physically and socially. Students will run and complete lessons on things like why our words matter, the importance of friendships, and how to believe in ourselves. Both are national non-profits that provide coach training, curriculum, and materials needed for lessons! Girls on the Run is a 10 week, 2x a week commitment, starting the week of March 3rd and ending mid-May. Let Me Run is a 7 week, 2x a week commitment, also in the spring, but exact dates to be determined.

From the coach that we already have committed, Let Me Run will be held in the morning, but the days of the week are flexible. Girls on the Run has typically been in the afternoon, and the committed coach is flexible on what days of the week.
