NOW HIRING: Event Assistants 🤝

Student Centers' Event Services team is hiring Event Assistants to support meetings and events across George Mason University! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build customer service skills, and work behind the scenes at campus events.

- Provide day-of, on-site event support
- Set up meeting rooms, furnishings, and equipment
- Assist guests and event hosts face-to-face
- Troubleshoot basic in-house A/V systems
- 10–20 hours/week with opportunities during summer & university breaks

Heads up, Patriots! Summer break comes with a few Holiday Closures ☀️

Student Centers (Johnson Center, SUB I, and The Hub) will be closed during designated Summer Holidays and University Observed Days, including:
• Memorial Day – Monday, May 25
• Juneteenth – Friday, June 19
• Independence Day (University Observed) – Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4

Student Centers is hiring Building Services Assistants now through May 31! Are you a current student who is looking for a flexible on-campus job where you can gain hands-on experience, work with a team, and help keep student spaces running smoothly? This could be for you 👏

Responsibilities include:
🔧 Assisting with building inspections and work orders
🪜 Supporting light maintenance projects and repairs
📦 Organizing supplies and inventory
🎨 Helping with painting, cleaning, and building upkeep
🪑 Assisting with event setups and cleanups in the JC, SUB I, and The Hub
