🐎 Mare ultrasounds and reproductive management
🐎 Artificial insemination (AI)

🐎 Managing breeding schedules and keeping our mares on track throughout the breeding season

We’re hoping to find someone who can work with us on-site at our farm and help us build a successful, well-managed breeding program. We are open to discussing what this position could look like for the right person!

Experience, knowledge, reliability, and a genuine passion for equine reproduction are a must. We want someone who takes pride in their work and is interested in building a good working relationship with our program.

📍 Location: Fairfax, Minnesota

🐴 3 RECIPIENT MARES WANTED 🐴

Arrow C is currently looking for THREE recipient mares to add to our breeding program.

We are specifically looking for mares suitable to carry Appendix embryos.

Our embryos will be pulled from 16hh Thoroughbred mares, and the stallions we are breeding to are all 15hh+, so we are looking for mares with the size, bone, structure, and overall build to comfortably carry these foals.

What we're looking for:

• 15hh+ preferred
• Good bone and substantial build
• Sound and healthy
• Good feet
• Easy to handle
• Good temperament
• Proven reproductive history is a plus, but not required
• CORRECT, STRAIGHT LEG STRUCTURE IS A HUGE PRIORITY

And when we say straight, we mean…

STRAIGHT. STRAIGHT. STRAIGHT. 😂

We are going to be picky about legs. Very picky.
We aren't looking for “good enough” structure—we want mares that are correct, functional, and built to stay sound.

Breed, registration, and color are not our priority. Structure, soundness, temperament, and suitability as a recipient mare are.

We are willing to travel for the right mares.

📍 Southern Minnesota

If you have a mare that may fit what we're looking for, please PM the page with:

📸 Photos/video
📏 Height
🎂 Age
🧬 Breeding/registration, if applicable
🍼 Reproductive history, if applicable
📍 Location
💰 Asking price

And PLEASE include good photos/video of the legs. We promise we're not kidding about that part. 😂

We're looking for three quality mares, and we're willing to wait for the right ones.

🔥 FLASH SALE — BANDIT 🔥

🖤 6-Year-Old Mustang Gelding | 14.1hh
📍 Fairfax, MN

💲1000

Serious inquiries only — experienced/project home required.

Looking for someone who wants to take a well-started Mustang and finish the job?

Meet Bandit.

Bandit is a sweet, well-handled Mustang gelding with a strong groundwork foundation and a solid education behind him. He is NOT a finished riding horse, but he has been thoughtfully started and is ready for the right person to continue his training.

🖤 FOUNDATION & HANDLING

✔️ Halter broke & easy to lead
✔️ Picks up all 4 feet
✔️ Lunges
✔️ Backs & flexes
✔️ Yields hindquarters & forequarters
✔️ Has been saddled
✔️ Has been cinched up
✔️ Has been laid over & had a leg over his back
✔️ Not fully sat on yet
✔️ Has been ponied
✔️ Has gone on in-hand walks
✔️ Used to fly masks, blankets, fly sheets & fly boots
✔️ Stands hard tied

🐴 GROUND MANNERS

Bandit is respectful and well-mannered to handle.

He stands for the vet and farrier, and his vet has specifically complimented him on his good behavior.

❤️ PERSONALITY

This is where Bandit really shines.

He is a very sweet gelding who forms a bond once he trusts his person. He loves to nuzzle your face and is willing to try for the person he trusts.

That said, he is still very green.

He can be spooky and reactive, and his biggest vice is that if genuinely frightened, he may bolt.

Because of that, Bandit needs a patient, confident, experienced handler who understands green horses and is willing to continue his education slowly and correctly.

⚠️ NOT A BEGINNER HORSE.

This is a project horse with a lot of potential for someone who enjoys putting the buttons on and building a partnership from the ground up.

🩺 CARE

• Vaccines — 04/03/2026
• Coggins — 04/03/2026
• Trimmed — 06/17/2026; currently due again

Please message with your experience, situation, and what you're looking for in your next horse. We want to make sure Bandit finds the right fit.

🐴 OCTOBER TRAINING AVAILABILITY IS OPEN! 🐴

October is right around the corner, and we’re opening up limited training spots at Arrow C Performance Horses! 🤎

Whether your horse needs a solid foundation, a tune-up, more miles, better manners, confidence building, or help becoming a more well-rounded partner, we’re here to put in the work. We believe in taking the time to teach the little things that make a BIG difference — because every step matters.

Our program focuses on building horses from the ground up through consistency, groundwork, patience, communication, and good horsemanship. Some days, we have to stop and look around our barn and realize just how blessed we truly are. 🤎🐴

We are so incredibly happy and thankful for every horse that has found their way into our program. Every single one of them has a purpose, a story, a lesson to teach, and a place here at Arrow C.

These horses are more than just the ones we train, ride, breed, or work with. They are the reason we keep showing up. They challenge us, teach us, humble us, and push us to become better horsemen and women every single day.

We don’t take for granted the trust that comes with being given the opportunity to work with these incredible animals. Whether they are here for a season, a purpose, or hopefully a lifetime, we are grateful for every hoofbeat that echoes through our barn.

Our barn may not always be perfect, and the journey certainly isn’t always easy—but we wouldn’t trade the horses standing in it for anything. ❤️

Here’s to the horses that make all of this possible, the lessons they continue to teach us, and the future we are building one horse at a time.

We wanna say a huge thank you to Caty Elgin for allowing us to take care of your girls!!! We couldn’t be more excited to have them

Forever thankful for the ones in our barn. 🐴🤎
