Dear Friends and Preschool Families.
It is with a heavy heart that the Preschool Board and the Teachers of Christ Lutheran Preschool must make the announcement that the preschool will not open for the 2021-2022 school year.

As per the church council.
“CELC Council to direct the CELC Preschool Board to take immediate action to cease operations, but with the proviso that Council will consider future discussions with the Preschool Board about the possibility of redevelopment."

Please note that the staff of Christ Lutheran Preschool and the school board is already working on ways to re-imagine and to re-evaluate the preschool. We hope that we will be able to have a fresh, bright, happy and safe school for the community in the future.

Happy St Patrick's Day and Happiest of birthdays to our March Preschoolers.

It's been almost a year for some and just over a year for others. The last full day of preschool was our donuts for Dad's day! We miss you all and can't wait to re-open for the 2021-2022 school year!

1. Make a heart-shaped breakfast.

2. Trace and color hearts.

3. Serve red snacks.
Strawberries, red peppers and cherry tomatoes become fun when served with love!

4. Teach them how to give compliments.
Find a new way to tell your little ones how much they mean to you. Ask them to say something nice about someone they know.

5. Celebrate with heart-shaped pizza.
Make a yummy homemade pizza. Add the toppings you like in the shape of a heart.

6. Give them one-on-one time.
Allow them to choose a time to have one-on-one with the person of their choice.

7. Let them choose how to celebrate.
Should we get fancy or casual. Let them dress up and have fun.

8. Make Valentines together.
Make as many Valentines as you like. Drop them off to friends and family. Make them now and mail them. It’s the process that matters, let them have fun.

9. Spend the day in pajamas.
Wake up and NEVER get dressed. Stay in Pajamas all day!

10. Dress in pink or red together.
Dress in your favorite holiday colors.

11. Have a family movie night.
Let your little one choose the movie to watch.

12. Wind down with a bath.
Add bubbles or fun to their night time bath. Find some Red heart sponges to scrub a dub dub.

13. Read a love-themed bedtime story.
Search for special Valentine books for Children! Check out your local library or order from a local bookstore.

14. Random act of kindness.
Do something kind for a friend, family member or stranger. Leave a note, sing a song over the phone, send love via zoom.
