Congratulations to our Brother of Month for the Month of March, Brother Peter Scharf! This past month Peter worked diligently as our Greek Week Chair and secured us our second Greek Week win in a row. All in the midst of maintaining a stellar GPA as a civil engineering major! Couldn't thank you enough Pete, A-B and "to the invisible boatmobile, AWAAAAYYYY"

Congratulations to our February Brother of the Month, Brother Ramzi Muhsin! Ramzi is a freshman Finance major, avid golfer, and our current Philanthropy Chair. He recently put together our very successful Sets4Vets volleyball tournament, raising over $1,300 for Fisher House - a remarkable feat for a new member! Sometimes he may talk too much, other times he might tell everyone in his Econ class the wrong date of a test, but at the end of the day we appreciate his diligent work for the fraternity and look forward to what he brings in the future. A.E.K.D.B. Ramzi!

This week we will be introducing the members of our diligent and committed Executive Committee. To begin, meet our Guards: Brother Chris Westover (L) and Brother Gunnar Michael (R) of the Gamma Theta pledge class. Chris is a sophomore Criminology major, a team leader in Mason's ROTC program, and isn't allowed on most amusement park rides. Gunnar is also a sophomore, studying Tourism and Events Management and can do a spot-on Christopher Walken impression (seriously, ask him next time you see him). These two gentlemen do an exceptional job at guarding our chapter's secrets and ensuring that our risk management is operating at the most professional level, and we are more than proud to have them in our brotherhood. A-B fellas!

Congratulations to our Brothers of the Month, Brother Adler Cargill and Brother Parsa Soroush. Adler and Parsa were both responsible for Rush this semester and did a stellar job. Both are outstanding active brothers and we are happy to have them by our side. Outstanding work. A-B.

Congratulations to Brother Zack Bediwy and Brother Nate Treleven for both individually winning Brother of the Month for the month of October. This past Sunday they both completed the Marine Corps Marathon and collectively raised over $1200 for the Fisher House Foundation. Both of you showed outstanding commitment to making the world a better place, and for that, we thank you.

Congrats to Daniel Busch for winning Brother of the Month for the month of September. Daniel has helped bring in one of the biggest pledge classes in the history of our chapter. Through his hard work and dedication to the chapter over his four years, he has made a substantial impact on all of our lives. Daniel has also accepted a full time offer at Lockheed Martin after graduation. Thank you for everything you have done for our chapter, Daniel.

Today, in remembrance of the tragic events that occurred 15 years ago, we honor those lives lost and the first responders that fought valiantly to save them. In recognition of Kappa Sigma's First Responders Day, our chapter visited Brother Bill McGovern's volunteer fire station in Berwyn Heights, Maryland. We supplied the Berwyn Heights Volunteer Fire Department with cases of Red Bull, to keep them energized throughout their tireless service. To the Berwyn Heights Volunteer Fire Department and first responders nationwide, the Brothers of the Kappa Phi Chapter of the Kappa Sigma fraternity thank you for your honorable service.
