College & Career Pathways Is This Weekend!
It's not too late for high school families to sign up for VSAC's College & Career Pathways, taking place this Saturday, March 8 in person at UVM and online via Zoom. Online registration closes this Thursday, March 6, but walk-ins are welcome on the day of the event.

Also being offered at the in-person event is a Resource Fair, 1-2pm, before the workshops start. Two dozen exhibitors are scheduled to be onsite, including several area colleges.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION 2025-26

February 19 - March 21, 2025
Kindergarten Registration

Your child must be five years old on or before September 1, 2025 to attend Kindergarten in the fall of 2025. Parents can request enrollment packets by contacting Rhonda Masse at 802-849-0723, or emailing [email protected]. If your child is currently enrolled in the PreK program at BFA, you do not need to request a packet. You will receive several forms to update information. Those documents will be sent home with your child at the beginning of the registration period.

Enrollment packets should be completed and returned by March 21, 2025. For new enrollments - A copy of your child’s birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of residency must be included with your completed enrollment packet. Students cannot be enrolled until all of the required documents are on file with the school.

All other Kindergarten information (Handbooks, Screening Dates, Information Night) will be shared at a later date. Thank you!

Student Records Destruction

STUDENT RECORDS: Bellows Free Academy in Fairfax, Vermont, will be destroying any non-essential materials from student files of graduates from the Class of 2018.

SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS: Bellows Free Academy in Fairfax, Vermont, will be destroying Special Education records of students with birthdays January 1 - December 31, 1998 and January 1 - December 31, 1999, as this information is no longer relevant and/or needed for the student’s educational program. Please be advised that some of the information contained in Special Education files may be needed later on for other purposes such as eligibility for Social Security Disability benefits.

If you wish to have these records before they are destroyed, please email the Counseling office at [email protected]. This request must be made prior to Friday, February 21, 2025. Records may only be requested by the student or authorized agent.

Hello! I am starting to work on Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-2026 school year. If you have a child enrolled in our preK classes at school - or in an Act 166 program through BFA - you don't need to do anything at this time. If you have a child who will be 5 years old on or before next September 1, and he/she is not currently enrolled with any of our programs, please contact me so that I can get your child added to my list of incoming students.
