Advocating for Advocates was the goal of Integrative Studies Professor Cher Weixia Chen's recent 4-VA project to address burnout facing student activists. At the core of 4-VA@Mason's Collaborative Research Grants is the mantra: "two heads are better than one." Professor Kelly Schrum took this concept to heart, engaging colleagues at five Virginia universities to build historical thinking, original research, and digital literacy skills into their history of higher education classes.
