The N**P Guide for SOAP 2026 has been released.

No applicant plans to enter the Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program. The objective is always to match through the Main Residency Match. However, disciplined applicants understand that contingency planning is part of strategic preparation.

SOAP is governed by strict eligibility requirements, application limits, communication restrictions, and binding offer mechanics. Entering Match Week without understanding these rules creates unnecessary risk.

The best strategy is to be prepared.

To access the List of Unfilled Programs in the N**P R3 system, you must:

• Be registered with N**P
• Be SOAP-eligible
• Complete registration by Wednesday, March 4 at 9:00 PM ET

If you are not registered by this time, you will not have access to the unfilled list when SOAP opens.

Do not assume you can register later. The system will not accommodate late applicants.
