Roosevelt at Mason Roosevelt @ Mason is George Mason University’s largest and most active nonpartisan student policy organization.

Roosevelt @ Mason has gone from 6 students meeting in our dorm rooms to one of the largest and strongest student organizations on George Mason’s campus in just over two years. In that time, Roosevelt @ Mason has hosted a regional conference that saw 6 chapters come together and strategically plan policy goals, engaged with dozens of local, state, and federal elected officials on panels and a metic

ulously planned lobby day in Richmond, Virginia, as well as seen a total of 10 original student policies published in the national 10 Ideas journal across 2015 and 2016. Our goal as a chapter is to involve a representative body of students in actionable policies that push for progressive change in our campus and communities; we do that by fostering original and creative thought, challenging the status quo of our political and economic spheres, and building a progressive infrastructure that lays the groundwork for future change-makers at Mason.
