Earlier this month, Riverside Research joined the Aviation Cyber Initiative Cyber Rodeo at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where our team (Thomas Bailey, Gregory James, Anthony R. Pierce, Samuel Schmitz, Justin H. Jones, Matthew Kinnison and Mahmoud Elbasiouny) partnered with leaders across government, industry, and academia to advance and .
As a returning partner, we showcased Counter-Counter UxS solutions, hosted a technical talk led by Gregory James, and welcomed more than 70 visitors to our demonstration booth.
On the competition side, our team, Riverside Red, earned first place among industry teams during the Aviation Cyber Capture-the-Flag, finishing fifth overall out of 50 teams. Our custom challenge quickly became the most completed industry scenario, and collaboration with the UCF student team even led to a rapid security patch and bug bounty award.
The event strengthened new partnerships and opened the door to future engagements with NASA and DefCon as we continue driving innovation in national security technology.

Riverside Research Scientists James Duff and Jacob Ochs presented their posters at the APS Division of Plasma Physics (DPP) in Long Beach, CA.
The conference included scientific research sessions, which furthered the DPP’s objective of advancing and disseminating the knowledge, understanding, and applications of plasmas. Riverside Research is proud to be a leader in with our own plasma lab for testing.
