Today at Camp JOY, we made dinosaur masks, glued dinosaur skeletons together, freed dinosaurs from ice and sand, and had a fun day playing with friends!

It’s week 2 of Camp JOY, and we are “Digging for Dinosaurs!” We’re enjoying dinosaur stories and activities and having so much fun on the playground!

It was an EXTRA SPECIAL day today at CPP! The Frogs Class started our whole school on an adventure a few weeks ago: hatching chickens! The students have been talking about the steps involved with hatching chickens and the importance of an incubator. They’ve been curiously observing the whole process, asking thoughtful questions, and exploring for answers. Yesterday (on Mother’s Day!), the chicks began to hatch! Take a look at these photos:

4 & 5- using a light to look for chick embryos inside the eggs
