Today we are celebrating a notable figure who fought for woman's equality in the mid-19th century - Susan B. Anthony.
Susan B. Anthony was a champion of temperance, abolition, the rights of labor, and equal pay for equal work. She traveled around the country along with Elizabeth Cady Stanton delivering speeches in favor of women's suffrage. In 1888, she helped to merge the two largest suffrage associations into one, the National American Women’s Suffrage Association. She led the group until 1900.
Anthony died in 1906, just 14 years before women were given the right to vote with the passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920.

With a growth mindset, children believe that their knowledge and skills are never static and can be improved over time. In contrast, children with a fixed mindset believe that these characteristics are set in stone and will not change no matter how hard they try.
Children with ADHD have a tendency toward a fixed mindset, but there are a few steps you can take to help your child shift to
a growth mindset. ⬇️
1️. Teach your child that they can improve their intelligence and academic abilities.
2️. Help your child develop new skills and strategies.
3️. Provide opportunities for positive challenges.
4️. Give targeted growth mindset praise.
5️. Share in your child’s joy when they achieve their goals.
