The Chicago Teacher's Union (CTU) is asking for several million dollars to fix old and dilapidated schools that lack basic air conditioning and libraries. Mayor Rahm Emmanuel has committed the city of Chicago to spending upwards of $25 MILLION to increase police patrols and otherwise break the CTU. Who really cares about our children?
