The Staff Senate will be in recess during the month of July while we focus on our Staff Senate Election. During August, we will have a closed session to welcome newly elected senators and plan for the new academic year.

Jariatu Bah is the Office Manager for CHSS Academic Affairs office and has worked at Mason since 2010. She currently represents the Fairfax campus and serves on the Events Committee of the Staff Senate. Shop for free at Patriot Packout’s annual Free Store from July 1 – July 3 and July 8 – 10!

The Free Store is a ‘for the Mason community, by the Mason community’ resource to address basic needs insecurity.

Shop gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, books, art supplies, small appliances, electronics, household items, and kitchen goods. All items in the Free Store were donated during Patriot Packout’s sustainable move-out initiative.

The Free Store is open from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. in the Gillespie Gallery at the Fairfax Campus. The Gallery is located on the first floor of the Art and Design Building (Google Maps pin here).

All Mason Patriots are welcome! Students, staff, faculty, alumni, contracted employees - if you're part of the Mason community, you're invited. Partners, family members, siblings, etc. are invited to shop with their Patriot.
