Our 5th graders turned reading into an active sport today! Using their Benchmark consumables, they put their annotating strategies to work—underlining key details, starring main ideas, and jotting down questions in the margins. 🖋️✨

📏 Taking it Step-by-Step on the Number Line! 🔢✨

Our 4th graders took their number sense to the next level today! 🚀 They learned how to break down and accurately place 3-digit numbers on a number line.

By finding key benchmark numbers like 100s and 50s, our mathematicians worked out where numbers belong, building a strong foundation for rounding, estimation, and place value! 🧠💡

Ask your 4th grader tonight: If 350 is right in the middle of 300 and 400, where would 375 go? 📐

They worked on making inferences—using clues from the text plus what they already know in their brains to figure out what the author isn’t telling us directly. 🧠💡
