On October 20th, the MIX will be an exhibitor at the Makerfaire event. This will be a collective gathering of fascinating makers from this area where your very own MIX team will be participating in. We’ll have activities, resources, trinkets to give away, student staff, Mason faculty, MIX programming, and community projects to show the rest of the NOVA community. If you’re interested in collaborating with the MIX by sharing a project to display, please email us. Hope to see you there!

And finally, of our returning staff, we can’t forget Jaymin and Pooja. You may have seen them in the summer working to keep the MIX space available and running for the community.

Colin is returning as a Makerspace associate as well as in his new position as the FabLab assistant. Sam returns to the MIX as a Senior Staff associate after a semester break, where he had amazing opportunities in London.

Welcome back James and Angel! Both have been with us for a long time and have a range of skillsets and interests. Lucky to have them!
