The penultimate day of classes has just ended. The students will have a full day of debates tomorrow!

The 3rd day of the 2023 GMDI is in the books, and we've officially passed the camp's halfway mark. Here were today's debate lab standouts:
Advanced Policy Lab: Devin - He believes in the stock market
HS Policy (Blue Lab): Sophie - She loves Ice Cream (Mint Chip is her favorite flavor)
HS Policy (Green Lab): Zewen - Vocal citizen during games of Mafia
HS Policy (Yellow Lab) - Sebastion - He loves Lacrosse

MS Public Forum Lab: Adhrit - Learning debate for the first time

Day 1 of the 2023 GMDI is under way! We couldn't be more excited to see so many new faces and returning students.

A common misconception is the belief that communication and debate are innate talents that emerge naturally for most people. This is not the case, they are skills that develop with practice, guidance, and time. Just like any other skill. For that reason, it means the world to us to help young students develop these skills, become more self-expressive, and grow into the best version of themselves.

GMDI would like to thank all of the participants whose engagement make this camp possible.

We're very excited to host another summer of debate education at George Mason!

We offer classes for every skill and grade level, and are dedicated to providing a safe, educational, and fun environment for every student.

Applications for the 2022 Summer Institute are open! We will have online and in-person classes at the introductory and intermediate level for rising 6th through 9th grade students and introductory classes for 10th through 12th grade students.
