The Main Street Music Studios is a consortium of private music teachers whose primary goal is to provide an intensive musical education for students in the greater metro Washington, D.C. The teachers of the consortium collaborate not only a pedagogical level, but also in the performing arena as the members of the Main Street Chamber Players. The collaborative art of chamber music provides a unique

learning experience both socially and artistically, and requires the cultivation of a specialized skill set that translates easily to both orchestral and solo playing. MSMS students will have the opportunity to play in chamber music ensembles that will be coached by the members of the Main Street Chamber Players.
