To celebrate Earth Month, the Green Team hosted a community clean up day.
Through a partnership with Area2Farm, they learned about vermicomposting. They then spent time pulling weeds, removing invasive plants and building a new storage shed! The day ended with a tree planting with help from the city of Fairfax Urban Forestry.
Thank you to all those that came out to help, including Friends of Accotink, Lands and Waters, and Service Source.
