Proud of our long-time BIS instructor Daniel Anderson!
Dr. Daniel completed his PhD in Cultural Studies this past Spring.
Dr. Daniel will lead the popular UNIV 304 - BIS Transfer Transitions course this Fall. The one-credit course meets only two Saturdays out of the semester and provides breakfast and lunch while showcasing Mason services and departments, important engagement opportunities for research and providing opportunities to meet/greet and network with current BIS students and faculty. In addition, special invitation BIS alumni panelists participate in question and answer sessions and provide "been there done that - here's how to succeed" suggestions for current students.
Bachelor of Individualized Study
Learning without limits. Mason's Bachelor of Individualized Study (BIS) program is a degree completion program for adult learners.
Students create interdisciplinary concentrations to meet their own educational needs: to advance professionally, to prepare for graduate or professional programs, or to plan a path toward a career change. BIS offers students a distinctive educational opportunity that allows students to integrate other college-level learning such as professional or military experiences into university course work.
Operating as usual

Events: BIS Senior Capstone Presentations BIS students, faculty mentors, family and friends are invited to attendthe BIS 491 Senior Capstone presentations highlighting the individualprojects of this semester's graduating students.
