Good Morning, Frost Families,

The PTA still needs a president and vice-president. Surely someone is willing to step up and serve in either of these capacities!

If you want to know about the time commitment and required tasks, please do not hesitate to contact me. Neither job is very taxing; both are very rewarding.

If these positions are not filled by the last day of school there will not be a PTA at Frost next year.

It has been brought to my attention that a few of you are considering running for Frost PTA President or Vice President but are unsure about the required work and time commitment. To help you make an informed decision, the PTA will host an information session during next Tuesday’s meeting.

“So You’re Thinking of Running for a Frost PTA Board Position” will explain in detail everything that is required of the president and vice president and how anyone with a desire to serve can fill either position.

Frost’s PTA is a vital part of Frost Middle School and we NEED YOU to keep the PTA alive and thriving!

We welcome everyone to join us for tonight’s virtual PTA Meeting. We will be providing Mr. Harris extra time to answer parent questions about the first day of in-person learning as well as vote on the Spring Teacher Grant Applications. We hope to see you there!

Hello, Frost Families,
Whether your children are returning to school or remaining virtual, there is a fair amount of information out there for all of us to process. If you have not already done so, please take the time to educate yourselves and your children about the upcoming Return to School Plans by watching the recording of last night's Frost Town Hall. Additionally, the video from the February 11th Town Hall is also available on the same site. Both videos and their accompanying presentations can be accessed by following the link below.

Taking this step now will help to answer most, if not all, of your questions about concurrent lessons, classroom monitors, lunch, etc. It may also alleviate some of the anxiety that many of you may be feeling.

If by some chance the link to the recordings does not work, I encourage you to check your email as the school sent several Return to School messages this week.

Also, please join us for the March PTA Meeting on Tuesday, March 2nd at 7:30pm. We will provide Mr. Harris extra time to answer parent questions about the first day of in-person learning as well as vote on the Spring Teacher Grant Applications.

Hello, Frost Families,

Please join us in welcoming back our teachers to in-person teaching. The PTA will host a Grab-and-Go Staff Luncheon on Thursday, February 25th and we would appreciate your support. Jersey Mikes will provide the subs - we could use donations of pre-packed food, snack, and drink items.

Frost Middle School PTA In honor of Library Lover's month and to further encourage a love of reading in our students, the Frost PTA is sponsoring our first ever Read-A-Thon. Funds raised will help fund various PTA-sponsored instructional resources and materials such as literacy development and digital library books, world....

Thanks to the generous support of the Frost community, the PTA has been able to fund a variety of programs this virtual school year through PTA Grants.

One request from Ms. Aldridge is a seminar for all Frost World Language teachers offering practical ideas to make communication in target language more engaging/successful for students, whether teaching in-person or online.

Other requests funded through the Grants program include: Digital library books, literacy programs, Annual Spelling Bee, Frost Minds Matter student club, positivity project/mentorship incentives, teacher recognition, to mention a few.

Spring Grant Applications will be accepted soon, providing additional resources to enrich our students' education experience.
