About: The Children’s Center for Language & Culture (ChiCeLaCu!) is a licensed preschool and language immersion center with locations Fairfax City and the Tysons-Vienna-Falls Church areas. It currently offers full-immersion and bilingual preschool and kindergarten as well and online and in-person classes for children ages 2.5 to 12. Overview: At ChiCeLaCu! students learn Spanish by fusing the arts
with traditional classroom learning. Not only do students learn to speak, read and write in Spanish, they also gain an appreciation for the various Latin American cultures and the many other cultures represented in our Center. Description: ChiCeLaCu! offers in-person and online Spanish for preschoolers and kindergarteners, Spanish After School, Summer Camps, Spanish Saturday School and tutoring. We also bring our services to public and private schools in the area. We follow a fun, highly-effective, long-term, curriculum, which is regularly reviewed and updated to ensure the highest quality of service. Online and in-person class sizes are kept small to allow teachers to provide a more personal and individualized teaching approach. Our teachers are all native speakers and trained educators with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in education. Learning another language takes time and dedication but the benefits are priceless! Our goal is for our students to become proficient in Spanish in a period of about 4 consecutive years of language learning. To this end, a long term commitment is needed from students and their families.
