Take your summer to the next level with these easy hacks!
• If you’re little one isn’t a fan of sunscreen, make it a game and paint it on with a make-up brush!
• If beach days are in your future, keep the sand there using talc-free baby powder. It will wipe off easily.
• Sticky popsicles are a child’s must-have in warm weather. Prevent a mess using cupcake liners to catch any drips.

It’s National Creativity Day! At The Goddard School - Fairfax one of our favorite books that teaches children about harnessing their creativity is Beautiful Oops by Barney Saltzberg. This book depicts artistic “mistakes” that have been transformed into something new and wonderful. We use this book to teach children that mistakes are opportunities, not failures.
