ARMY TEN-MILER 2026🏅

Ten miles. One mission. A shared commitment to excellence!

This morning, Patriot Battalion Cadets, Cadre, and friends joined thousands of runners in our nation's capital for the 42nd Annual Army Ten-Miler! 🏃‍♂️

More than just a race, this event brought together the Army community in a celebration of physical fitness, resilience, camaraderie, and the spirit of service. Proud of everyone who represented George Mason Army ROTC and took on the challenge.

During lab, our MSIIIs took on the EDGE Course tower! This was a great opportunity for cadets to challenge themselves, build confidence, and encourage one another while strengthening teamwork and trust.

MOGADISHU MILE

Patriot Battalion started the morning with the Mogadishu Mile, challenging Cadets through a 2-mile ruck followed by push-ups, squats, burpees and sprints. The workout tested endurance, strength, and the determination to keep moving when it gets tough.

FTX RECAP | DAY 4 🪖
On the final day of FTX, MS I and MS II Cadets supported the training of our MS III Cadets. With MS I Cadets serving as the opposing force and MS II Cadets assisting throughout the training.

MS III Cadets put their leadership and tactical skills to the test by conducting Ambush and Movement to Contact exercises, where they practiced planning, leading teams, reacting to simulated threats, and making decisions in a field environment.

Four days of training, teamwork, and growth 💪 FTX complete!

FTX RECAP | Day 3

Day 3 focused on building tactical skills through hands-on training, including simulated marksmanship, ambushes, movement to contact, and medical training. Cadets put their skills into practice through realistic scenarios while developing teamwork, communication, and leadership in the field.

Meanwhile, MSIV cadets supported the battalion and wrapped up the day by preparing a BBQ for everyone.

FTX RECAP | DAY 2 🪖

Day 2 kept the Patriot Battalion moving! MS I, MS II and MS III Cadets conducted Obstacle Course training, and Day/Night Land Navigation, building confidence in navigation and teamwork.

Cadets kicked off training by building their skills in leadership, teamwork, planning, and tactical decision-making through hands-on field exercises. They practiced how to organize a team, communicate under pressure, and work together to complete a mission.

FROM CADET TO SECOND LIEUTENANT

On September 14, 2026, the Patriot Battalion proudly celebrated the commissioning of 2LT Eve Kaufman into the United States Army! 🎖️

With PMS LTC Blascak administering the Oath of Office, 2LT Kaufman officially began a new chapter of service and leadership as an Army Officer.

Her pride in serving our nation and commitment to the Army have brought her to this milestone, and we are proud to see one of our own take the next step in her Army journey.

Congratulations, 2LT Kaufman! The Patriot Battalion wishes you continued success as you lead, serve, and make your mark on the Army. 🇺🇸🫡
