I really don't think learning can be solely from online learning. Learning is more complex than we are thinking it to be. Its the amalgamation of classroom experience, peer to peer interactions, student to teacher interactions, emotional learning and also social learning that contributes to one's, especially a child's whole learning experience.

Play should be a priority after the lockdown is over to help children interact and socialize.

Learning needs to be re-imagined because in the majority of countries around the world we are simply going about it in an outdated manner that does not equip our children with the skills they need now – and even more in the future.

Children need skills that will enable them to become creative, engaged, lifelong learners who are able to collaborate, communicate, think critically and be creative. What they are currently getting is education optimised for standardised testing and rote learning.

In short, education that was geared towards the needs of their parents and grandparents – but not for coping with and successfully navigating the complexity and opportunities of today’s post 4th industrial revolution world.

Its not my prediction but my firm belief is that the Future of Learning will need a lot of adjustments. The text books that the schools are diligently following have to be kept to a few numbers when one is trying to complement it with online learning.

The very challenge that comes with online learning is the attention span of students that we as Edu tech firms have to remember and deliver material that is brief yet impactful.

The reason I thought about launching my Start up/ Organization post Covid world through the online platform is because I felt there was a dearth of Edu techs in USA and also across the globe that is not focusing on concepts such as Mindfuness. The emotional and social learning of children during this pandemic are also affected and that's why I felt , it was needed to provide resources to parents/caregivers to better handle their children emotionally.

School closing is not easy for anyone, even in Fairfax where I am now in USA, the distance learning program crashed 2 times. This also shows we need more investment by the government in the infrastructure of technology.

Accessibility is not equitable and the educational resources are the available to everyone and not everyone is trained how to use the technology in the first place. That was a major systemic problem in USA that Bangladesh can learn from.
