I am thrilled to announce that Moed Fairfax/מועד פיירפקס: A Jewish Afterschool Community will be hosting an exciting new summer camp program at Gesher Jewish Day School during the week of June 16.

This summer camp is designed to bridge the gap between the end of the school year and the beginning of most day camps in the area. It will provide a fun and enriching experience for your children, filled with engaging activities and opportunities for them to learn and grow.

We are so excited to kick off our Spring Enrichment classes! All Classes are held after school at Gesher Jewish Day School from 3:45 - 5:00 pm. Classes are open to all kids grades K-4.

🌿 Mondays: Nature Arts and Crafts
We’ll explore the nature around Gesher, start a Nature Journal, learn new Hebrew vocabulary, and create exciting projects inspired by the outdoors.

⚽ Tuesdays & Thursdays: Spring Soccer
Coaches Ephraim and Sammy will lead us in a fun and engaging soccer program, incorporating Hebrew vocabulary and learning about Israel’s deep love for the game—all while building on the skills we developed in the fall!

🍽️ Wednesdays: Israeli Cooking
Get ready for a delicious journey through Israeli cuisine! We’ll be making Borekas, Shakshukah, Couscous, Hummus, and of course, Falafel, while learning about their cultural significance in Israel. This is one class your kids won’t want to miss!

🍞 Fridays: Kabbalat Shabbat & Challah Baking
No need to buy challah for Shabbat—we’ll be baking our own as we welcome Shabbat together in a warm and meaningful way.

Attention Gesher Parents: What are your kids doing tomorrow while Gesher is closed for the staff workday?

MoEd will be open tomorrow, February 7th from 8am - 5pm for a full day of fun. We will have basketball in the gym, art activities, games, a movie and challah baking and it looks like we will be able to spend some time outside! MoEd is excited to announce that we are offering Enrichment Classes and Aftercare at Gesher Jewish Day School this year.

MoEd Fairfax is exited to announce our new Spring Enrichment Class! Kids grades K-4, come join us the fun with our Israeli Shinshiniot Alona and Daniella. Crafts, Cooking, Games and more. All while learning a little conversational Hebrew and Israel Culture. Thursdays from 5-6pm starting pm March 7th.

MoEd Jewish Afterschool invites all kids grade K-4 to check our our Thursday Hebrew Enrichment classes. Join us for a FREE class and see what we are all about.
