Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈💗✨
We are celebrating with a new ‘Read with Pride!’ display in Recommended Reads and a featured title selected by Teaching & Learning Specialist, Roshan Panjwani!

Roshan teaches information literacy in English Composition classes and supports professional development for library instruction across Mason Libraries.

This month, Roshan has chosen to highlight ‘Guapa’ by Saleem Haddad 📚
“’Guapa’ is a powerful, intimate novel that follows Rasa, a young gay man navigating love, identity, and political unrest in an unnamed Middle Eastern city. Set over the course of a single day, the story unfolds with urgency and tenderness as Rasa confronts family expectations, cultural constraints, and his own sense of self. For Pride Month, this novel expands our understanding of q***r experiences beyond Western narratives—thoughtful, honest, and unforgettable.”

Lindsay has selected ‘Dungeons and Drama’ by Kristy Boyce📚 “I loved this book! I’m always on the hunt for a good romance, and this one definitely scratched that itch. It’s a cute, fun story that actually incorporates D&D into the storyline. I just got into D&D recently, so I thought it would be a really fun read. It’s a unique mix of love and adventure, and I think anyone who enjoys a romance with a D&D twist should definitely check it out.”
