In April, The Center for Mason Legacies joined Fairfax County History Commission in a special celebration to commemorate Fairfax’s role in the American Revolution 🇺🇸

The event, “Revolutionary Ideas: Fairfax in the American Revolution”, featured lectures from CML scholars, hands-on activities, and research workshops. The event granted the public an opportunity to interact with local history.

The Center of Mason Legacies’ participation in the event showcased CML’s dedication to student development and community outreach.

Here are the Summer 2026 library hours and closures for all George Mason University Libraries from May 18th through August 7th.

Please note that all libraries will be closed for Memorial Day (May 24th and 25th), Juneteenth (June 19th), and Independence Day (July 3rd and 4th).

Throughout the month of April, will be collecting donations of essential home and hygiene items to help provide comfort, dignity, and care to survivors of sexual assault.

Donations will go directly to Doorways and the City of Alexandria Sexual Assault Center.
⚠️Please ensure all donations are NEW and UNOPENED.
