You're Invited! Join the Fairborn Fire Department as we proudly dedicate our newest ladder truck, Ladder 2!

Equipped with a 100-foot aerial platform and built for performance and reliability, Ladder 2 will strengthen our ability to serve and protect the communities of Fairborn and Bath Township for years to come.

This special event is open to the public, and we hope you'll join us as we officially welcome Ladder 2 into service on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at Fire Station #2, located at 2200 Commerce Center Blvd. in Fairborn.

Come join us at Sweet Corn Festival this weekend and hang out with Sparky! 👏🌽🌽

The City of Fairborn, Fairborn Fire Department, and Fairborn Police Department are excited to be part of the Fairborn Sweet Corn Festival this weekend. Stop by to meet members of our City staff, firefighters, and police officers while enjoying one of Fairborn’s favorite summer traditions.

The festival runs Saturday, August 15 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, August 16 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Be sure to visit the Fairborn Fire Department tent on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. to meet Sparky the Fire Dog and take a photo. We look forward to seeing you at the Fairborn Sweet Corn Festival!

Local 1235 sends our deepest condolences to the family, friends and entire Spring Valley TWP Fire Department on the loss of one of their own, Battalion Chief Nick Page. It was an honor to help cover their crews while they attended services.

Congratulations to our 3 recruits who were sworn in today as our first Full-time FF/EMT. FF/EMT Osterholt, Ryan, Walsh are also currently in Paramedic school and will be finished at the end of year. After graduation they will be promoted to FF/Paramedic! Congratulations to all, keep up the great work!

It's going to be an extremely hot week ahead. Please check on elderly, stay hydrated and in cool or shade as much as possible. As always we have crews here if you need us. During heat emergencies, our crews themselves stay inside and hydrated so we are ready to help when needed. 💦 🔥

All counties are under a Heat Advisory starting at noon on Monday through 8 p.m. on Thursday.
