Fairborn Professional Firefighters Local 1235

This post is fairly late but wanted to give a huge shout out to our fleet Fire/EMS apparatus maintenance mechanic, Tony. Yearly....every ladder we climb, every fire engine pump and every piece of hose has to be service tested and recertified. Tony not only spends multiple days managing this but stays all day to fix any problems that are found during testing. Fairborn Fire is very lucky to have such a dedicated mechanic and we couldn't do our job without him. Keeping the fleet running is no small task but Tony is a rockstar, THANK YOU from Local 1235!

Thank you to FROYO 57 for the kind words and attending. The many flavors of frozen yogurt and toppings were so much fun! Can't wait to see everyone again for 2027 Public Safety in Park. It is our honor and pleasure to serve the Fairborn Community!

Being responsible and aware with using and properly disposing of batteries is part of theme to this years Fire Prevention Week message. We thank Greene County Environmental Services for providing this important service!

🔥 Turn Batteries In 🔥

Batteries do NOT belong in your trash or recycling bin. Whether it's alkaline, lithium-ion, or even the small batteries from greeting cards, putting them in your bin can cause dangerous fires.

Help prevent fires by bringing all batteries to Greene County Environmental Services for safe recycling.
