Introducing our latest member of the team, Meagan, our Student Office Assistant Meagan!

Meagan is currently studying Psychology while already having an Associates of Arts degree in the bag!

You can currently find her working in the Central Office being super helpful and a joy to work with!

She loves to read, travel, and quote: “I absolutely love my job! It’s so much fun!” (And if you can believe it, we didn’t even make her say that!)

Juneteenth is this 19th, but make sure to check out events going on that weekend around Fairbanks, volunteer, go celebrate, and connect with the community!

The weather was been perfect for walking nature trails along the campus. Remember to get out and enjoy natural beauty of Fairbanks this summer! (And don’t forget the bug spray!)

This month has been full of creative events made by our RA’s why not keep it going with a Summerween watch party celebration with a side of worm dirt dessert? All UAF residents welcome! Contact RA’s Ava or Blake for more information on this spooky June affair.

Some of the lovely floral beautification efforts from this past Wednesday’s annual Campus Flower Planting Day. Even more to bloom 🌺

Save the date, UAF Residents! Free food! Great vibes! RA Zaniyah is throwing a huge UAF summer resident BBQ on the 12th! That’s this upcoming Friday, 5 pm!

Though this will be mainly an event for residents, UAF affiliates are may stop stop by as well and partake in food and vibes, as long as supplies last 🌻⛱️🕶️

Welcome to the UAF Residence Life team, intern Ang!

Ang is pursuing a Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Education with a focus on Business and Curriculum and Instruction at Frostburg State University in Maryland.
Ang’s hobbies include playing percussion, singing, pickleball and talking long walks outside (Ang, for long taking walks, you’ve come to the right place!).
Ang is most excited to experience the natural beauty of Alaska and learning about the culture of Fairbanks.

Welcome aboard Ang and we hope this summer is full of great memories and new exciting experiences :)
