Day 12 - The group rafted the Green River today! The views were spectacular! The group also had the opportunity to see petroglyphs left from the Fremont culture, the most famous being the Fremont petroglyph.
The Uinta Mountains are a large anticlinal fold that was formed by uplift. The Green River made its path through the canyon as the range rose around it. For some interesting reading: https://geology.utah.gov/map-pub/survey-notes/glad-you-asked/the-curious-case-green-river-uinta-mountains/
