Introducing Electric Lynx 16542

We’re excited to share an important update with our robotics community! 🐾⚡

Our team is officially changing our name from Cyber Engineers to Electric Lynx 16542.

This new name better represents who we are as a team and the school we proudly represent. While our name is changing, our passion for robotics, innovation, teamwork, and inspiring the next generation of engineers remains the same.

The Lynx continues to represent the strength, curiosity, and determination of our team, while Electric reflects the energy, creativity, and excitement we bring to everything we do.

To our sponsors, mentors, families, supporters, and followers: thank you for being part of our journey. Your support helps our students learn, grow, build, and dream bigger.

If you are in Juneau! Don't miss out on this FUN STEM Summer Activity!

Juneau families - last call! Next week is the final week of STEM AK Summer Camps, and there's still room in two robotics programs, July 20-24:
🤖 LEGO Robotics Explore Camp (Grades 1-4). Campers get hands-on with LEGO SPIKE Essential motors, sensors, and programming logic, building and coding the same robot used in FIRST LEGO League Explore.
💻 FIRST LEGO League Tips/Intro to Python (Grades 5-8). Built for campers with FLL Challenge or Robotics Challenge Camp experience. They'll apply real building and programming strategies to tackle FLL missions, compete in a mini tournament, and get an intro to Python programming.

Both camps run at Thunder Mountain Middle School in Juneau, with a Pay-As-You-Can model.

It shows how much our teammate is passionate about her job! If you happened to be at Risse Greenhouse for their Container Planting Day tomorrow say Hi to Annalise for us! She is having an incredible time with these beautiful plants and even mentioned how much she wants to buy all the ladybugs!
