EFG Housing

EFG Housing The Employee, Family, & Graduate Housing (EFG) page is a virtual shared space where the EFG Residence Life staff will connect our unique community online!

Many students at UAF attend the university after having started a family of their own. To meet the family and educational needs of these students we have several facilities for married or financially inter-dependant couples without children or single parents and their children. In these facilities we try to support our student families while they establish a family atmosphere within an educational

environment. All of our family facilities are located on the main UAF campus on College Hill about 4 miles from downtown Fairbanks. The Department of Residence Life offers housing for students with families in one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartment complexes and single, duplex and triplex homes. Family Housing is available for married students, students with a financially inter-dependant partner, and students with children. Family housing agreement terms are usually for the length of the academic year. Residence Life also provides housing for employees and their families. Employee housing agreement terms are for 12 months. We offer apartments and duplexes for students with children and apartments for married students without children.

ATTENTION ALL RESIDENTS CURRENTLY LIVING ON CAMPUS:
UAFFD will be performing hydrant testing beginning August 3rd at 7am and ending August 4th at 7pm. During testing, building users may notice some discoloration in the building water. This may take a day or two to clear up. Please refrain from running your clothes washer during this time.

If you have any questions regarding this testing, please contact the Battalion Chief on duty at 455- FIRE.
