Heaven Nunn, Makayla Jensen, Katelyn Stacey, Sophia Robinson, Princess Ann Magtuloy, Alyssa Breitenstein, Zoe Miller, Naomi Halpern, and Isabelle Cavazos have all been a part of Educators Rising Alaska and will be graduating from King Tech High School this year.

The Alaska Statewide Mentor Project, part of the University of Alaska’s K-12 Outreach program, supports first and second year teachers in all 54 Alaska school districts. ASMP's highly trained mentors provide individualized, culturally responsive guidance that strengthens teaching, improves retention, and enhances student learning.
To date we have served over 5,000 teachers and reached more than 63,000 students since 2003 and we want to keep those numbers growing with the best teachers the state has to offer.
We are looking for experienced educators with a track record of collaborating with other educators, who display a serious willingness to learn and are both flexible and resourceful.
